About Wild Wolf Brewing Company’s Sustainability Efforts
Wild Wolf Brewing Company strives to be environmentally-friendly in all aspects of their business: their brewery, restaurant, and offices.
They streamlined all cleaning, brewing, and maintenance to be as water-efficient as possible, and use water from on-site wells.
The hundreds of pounds of spent grain from brewing beer are sent to local beef farmers for feed, and later, Wild Wolf uses that beef in their restaurant. Most of their pork, beef, chicken, and produce is sourced within 30 miles, reducing transportation fuel and increasing freshness.
Wild Wolf Brewing Company also packages their beer in cans, rather than bottles. Since cans are lighter than bottles, they require less fuel for shipping, and are easy to recycle. They also use Pak-Tek brand six pack carriers for their cans, which are reusable, recyclable, and made from 96% recycled content.
